When we first laid eyes on the large Victorian in the Pill Hill neighborhood of Brookline, Mass., we knew we’d have to shuffle some rooms around. We brought the kitchen up from the basement and made it center stage, flooded with sunshine and bejeweled with a light from Lindsay Adelman. A former office became the dining room. The dining room became the living room. A coat closet became the most adorable powder room. And the former kitchen became a recreation space for the whole family with ping pong, a Peloton and a place for popcorn and movies.

Every room projects personality and warmth and reflects the active family’s love for art, travel and design.
