The Colonial
Our goal for this Colonial in West Cambridge near the Fresh Pond Reservation and Charles River was to make this new build a home that truly reflects our clients’ love of art, travel and cooking.
Personality abounds in each room where we re-imagined the living room with space for game night, kitchen/dining ready for entertaining and a rich and moody primary bedroom and a nursery to dream of. The bedroom is filled with antiques to give a sense of history and the upholstered bed is so warm, one might never want to leave it. The nursery with dinosaur wallpaper and the room’s many textured layers was designed to grow with its lucky little boy.
The home truly reflects the family's passions, hobbies and dreams.
About the Area
West Cambridge neighborhood extends from Harvard Square, West Cambridge is a sprawling area with large, historic homes such as Longfellow House, one of George Washington’s headquarters during the Revolutionary War. In the 1800s, it was owned by poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, who is buried in nearby Mount Auburn Cemetery.
